ザップ (Zapp) は、ロジャー・トラウトマンが中心となり、レスター、ラリー、テリーらトラウトマン兄弟を中心として1978年に結成された。
Ｐファンクの後押しでデビューしたが、トークボックスを駆使した独自のサウンドで人気になる。トークボックスばかり目立つけど、音楽そのものが良いからこそ。いかしたバンドです。
